Description
Deutsch: Diese Bauart ist eine Modifikation der auf dem Willisonprinzip beruhenden Mittelpufferkupplung der Bauart SA3. Kuppelbar ist sie mit SA3, UIC-Mittelpufferkupplungen, Transpact-Kupplungen und zusätzlich mit der integrierten Kuppelkette mit Fahrzeugen mit Schraubenkupplung. Die Kuppelkette ist verkürzt, deshalb besteht die Spannspindel aus zwei unterschiedlich großen und ineinandergreifenden Gewinden. Der nötige Ausschnitt im Gussstück des Kuppelkopfes verringert zwar die Bruchlast, sie liegt trotzdem noch über der der US-amerikanischen Janneykupplung.
