Deutsch: Bei der 2018 erfolgten Fusion der ehemaligen Gemeinden Bergün/Bravuogn und Filisur unter dem Namen Bergün Filisur wurde auf das ehemalige Kreiswappen Bergün zurückgegriffen. Der Kreis Bergün war aus dem alten Gericht Greifenstein hervorgegangen, worauf der Greif im Sinne eines «redenden» Wappens hindeutet. Die Farben sind jene des Gotteshausbundes, dem das Gericht angehörte. Die Kreise des Kantons Graubünden wurden per 31. Dezember 2015 aufgelöst.
