Object history
Deutsch: Die Wappenscheibe des Zehngerichtenbundes in der Grossen Stube des Rathauses zu Davos aus dem Jahre 1564 zeigt in Gold ein einfaches blaues Kreuz. Das durchgehende Kreuz erscheint ebenso auf den Bundssiegeln von 1518 und 1524, ferner auf den Bundsscheiben von 1548 und 1605 und ist 1643 durch ein geviertetes Kreuz im gevierteten Schild von Blau und Gold abgelöst worden. Demzufolge weisen das Zehngerichtenbund-Siegel vom Jahre 1802 und das Landschaftssiegel vom Jahre 1803 ein geviertes Kreuz in verwechselten Farben auf, welches sich seither allgemein eingebürgert hat, weshalb nicht auf die alte, einfache Form zurückgegriffen wurde.
