Object history
Deutsch: Johannes der Täufer ist Dorfpatron, weshalb ihn die Gemeinde bereits im Siegel führt. Am Hauptaltar der neuen Pfarrkirche findet sich ein Wappen des Täufers mit der Aufschrift: «St. Johannes Patr. Comunit. Emisiensis». Aufgrund der Überlieferung des Täufers als Dorfpatron sowie der kunsthistorische Bedeutung der zweiten Pfarrkirche St. Johann Baptista wurde der Dorfpatron, entsprechend dem bestehenden Gemeindesiegel, an der Landesausstellung 1939 als Fahnenfigur verwendet.
