Nederlands: De schaal dient om de zogenaamde 'wots' in te mengen en daaruit te eten. 'Wots' zijn sterk gekruide sauzen, van allerlei samenstelling, al of niet met vlees. (In de vastentijd ontbreekt het vlees. Verder is het vooral een kwestie van bereikbaarheid en financiën of er al of niet vlees in zit en hoeveel). Men eet de wots met inzjerra-pannekoeken. Men breekt met de hand een stuk inzjerra af en doopt dit in de gezamenlike wotpot.
Zoals alle aardewerk worden ook deze schaaltjes door een lage kaste gebakken. |
