Nederlands: Het snoer werd in deze vorm gedragen door vrouwen tijdens een dans. Het snoer werd om het hoofd gedragen, net boven het voorhoofd. Dit snoer heeft echter een te kleine diameter om over een hoofd te worden geschoven, misschien alleen om dat van een kind (sic.). Het is duidelijk een halssnoer, gezien de sluiting welke ontbreekt bij het originele hoofdsieraad. Van oorsprong werden deze snoeren dus niet als halssnoer gebruikt en het is duidelijk dat de vorm van dit exemplaar ontleend is aan het hoofdsieraad.
Waarschijnlijk is dit snoer niet voor lokaal gebruik bedoeld, maar voor de verkoop. |
