English: Newman Sinclair Auto Kine 35mm cine camera, circa 1927 Used by Rudall Hayward for filming newsreels brief camera body- grey-green wooden (mahogany) box construction with hinged side panels; brass lens casing and details; Duralumin panel inside case and Duralumin film magazines; leather carry strap on top lenses- two lenses, a Ross (London) wide angle 'XPRESS' 2 inch lens with iris diaphragm and lens hood, 12 yards - infinite; and a narrow angle Taylor Taylor and Hobson Series 11A Cooke Anastigmat Lens with iris diaphragm and lens hood, 2-20 yards - infinite magazines- three Duralumin film cartridges, numbered 1 to 3 camera case- stitched brown leather with brass fittings; hinged lid and buckled leather belt to fasten; owner's initials on lid in gold- "R.H."
