English: The U.S. Navy heavy cruiser USS New Orleans (CA-32) camouflaged at Tulagi, in December 1942. Everything ahead of turret No. 2 is missing after being hit by a single torpedo during the Battle of Tassafaronga on 30 November 1942 which exploded her forward magazines.
