(4) Asatisfactory written examination in all branches embracedin the curriculum of a four-year accredited high school. THE COMBINATION COURSE. A student who is a candidate for the B.S. degree may takethe first two years of that course in the School of LiberalArts at Oxford, and the last two years in the School of Medi-cine in Atlanta. After the satisfactory completion of thiscourse of four years he will receive his Bachelor of Sciencedegree; and then, with two additional years in the School ofMedicine, he will receive his degree of Doctor of Medicine.This will be found particularly advantageous. Some of theadvantages of the Combined Course are: (1) It saves time.(2) It directs the course specifically towards medicine. (3)It allows the student to substitute one-half of his medicalcourse (the first two years) for the College work leading tothe Bachelor of Science degree. 178
