Luke and I had been itching to get out and do some astro for a while and last night was a somewhat clear night so we toodled out to the Royal National Park. I think you need to be a certain level of mad to be stood in the middle of the National Park at 2:00am in the morning with your camera, but the experience is like nothing else I have ever done. When you are stood out there in dark under the star filled sky it is very hard to describe the emotions you feel, it is almost humbling, it makes you realise how very small we are in the grand scheme of things.
