Photograph of a chair of Spanish-Dutch design at Mission Santa Barbara, ca.1905. The wooden chair has four legs with a curved piece of wood directly under the seat between the two front legs. The arms of the chair are are carved into a downward turning scroll, while the back consists of a flat wood panel with a curved top straddled by two squarish pieces topped with a flame-shaped figure (missing on the right). The chair sits against a plain wall on a damaged tiled floor.
