Description

Army Chaplains' Department

The Reverend Dixon (1872 - c 1954) was a graduate of Christ's College, Cambridge. He was ordained deacon in 1895 and priest in 1896.

He subsequently served as vicar of St Jude, Halfax 1902 - 1916 and then as vicar of St George, Barnsley 1916 - 1928. He was a member of the Chaplain Territorial Force 1913-1924.
