English: Cigarette Holder and Case Matchsafe, 1903–04
Description
English: Rectangular, rounded corners, featuring overall engraved foliate scroll pattern, central circular reserve inscribed TM. Reverse side, same decoration, slightly convex. Lid hinged on side, small thumb catch opposite. Striker in recessed groove on bottom. Cylindrical case for cigarette holder attached by rings situated below hinge on box side, similarly engraved with overall pattern and reserve for monogram. At cigarette case top is small, circular lid, with thumb catch, hinged at back. Enclosed is plastic cigarette holder, resembling horn, edged with gold rim.
