Summary[edit]
DescriptionClifton College Victory Arch.jpg |
English: Clifton College. The college's memorial arch commemorating the teachers and pupils who died during the two World Wars as seen from "The Quad". Beyond the gates lies College Road and on the opposite side of the road is Dakyn's House. This used to be one of the college's residential houses for boarders but now houses non-boarding facilities for two boys' "houses". (H.G. Dakyns, a master and a Greek specialist was also a tutor for Lord Alfred Tennyson's children once).
