English: Copper alloy

Medal. Milled Commemorative Coronation Medal. A drilled hole at top of diameter 1.8mm interrupts legend.

Obverse description: Busts of King George V (1910-1936) and the Queen. A circumferential inscription is illegible.

Reverse description: Shield with armorial design of chevron and three dog or boar heads left; scroll above with legend: GRIMSBY

Reverse inscription: CROWNED JUNE 22 1911 J. WHITELEY MAYOR.

Diameter: 34.8mm, Thickness: 2.5mm, Weight: 15.73gms, die axis: 12.
