Эта книга, самое важное священнoe писание конфуцианства, оказала огромное влияние на культуру Китая и соседних стран. Говорят, что она попала в Японию примерно в V веке. Первое издание "Ронго" в Японии было опубликовано в Сакае, городе на территории современной префектуры Осака, в 19-й год периода Сёхэй (1364 г.). Она известна как "рукопись периода Сёхэй ". Ксилографические клише первого издания были утрачены почти сразу. La première édition de Rongo publiée au Japon, appelée version Shōhei, fut produite à Sakai, ville aujourd'hui dans la préfecture d'Ōsaka, la 19e année de l'ère Shōhei (1364). Les blocs de bois de la première édition furent perdus peu après. L'exemplaire présenté ici est une version réimprimée qui parut vraisemblablement à la fin de la période Muromachi (XVIe siècle). Les marques rouges et les signes de ponctuation furent probablement ajoutés à cette époque.
Xylographie; Confucius English: Rongo (Analects) is famed as the collection of the words and deeds of Confucius. As the most cherished scripture of Confucianism, the book greatly influenced the culture of China and neighboring nations. It is said to have been introduced to Japan around the fifth century. The first published edition of Rongo in Japan was made in Sakai, a city in present-day Ōsaka Prefecture, in the 19th year of the Shōhei period (1364), and is known as the Shōhei version. The wood blocks of the first edition disappeared in early days. The copy presented here is a reprinted version, which seems to have been published in the late Muromachi period (16th century). The red marks and punctuation marks are assumed to have been added at that time.
