Reverse shows three fluer de lis at top with: I/PISTOL/W below. Pistol or pistole is a common name for several foreign coins, on English weights referes to a Spanish 2 escudos or the French Louis d'or ssed 1640-1709. This is the latter: LVD XIIII [D G] FR ET NA REX on obverse. The W on the reverse is a makers mark. Full weight - 6.75 g. Weight 6.6g, diameter 19.07mm, thickness 3.24mm. Die axis is 12 o'clock.
