Notes Pink and black tutu tap-dancing outfit, circa 1955 Worn at tap-dancing competitions by Glenys Gargan when she was aged about 14. This costume was worn for several years and was let out as Glenys grew. It was made by a neighbour of Mrs Ada Gargan's drapery shop in Onehunga. This woman was a very good dressmaker and made several outfits for Glenys, assisted by Mrs Gargan. See photograph in collection.
