Note:
This stamp is an reprint of the U.S. government for Cuba from 1905. These were reprints of stamps, issued by the U.S. government for Cuba in 1899 during the U.S. American military occupation of Cuba in 1899-1902. However, the stamps of 1905 show two significant differences to those of 1899: The 1905-stamps have no watermark and the oval around the nominal number shows no gloves.
