Object history
Deutsch: Die silbere Eiche auf grünem Schild steht für den Bestand der mehrere hundert Jahre alten und z.T. unter Naturschutz stehenden Eichen in der Ortsgemeinde Gielert. Das rote Kreuz auf silbernem Grund ist das Zeichen von Kur-Trier. Der wachsende rote Löwe auf goldenem Grund nimmt Bezug auf die Waldgrafenschaft.
