Object history
Deutsch: Die beiden Messer sind das Attribut des heiligen Bartholomäus, dem die Kirche in Priesendorf geweiht ist. Die Lilie repräsentiert als Mariensymbol die Wallfahrtskapelle in Priesendorf. Das Hirschgeweih erinnert an den 1717 verstorbenen Jäger Konrad Gregel, der sich für eine Abtrennung Priesendorfs von der Pfarrei Eltmann eingesetzt hatte. Er stand in Diensten der Grafen von Schönborn, in deren Herrschaftsbereich Priesendorf gelegen ist. Daran erinnern die Farben Gold und Rot aus dem Wappen der Grafen von Schönborn.
