Deutsch: Rickenbach besteht aus Altenschwand, Bergalingen, Hottingen, Hütten, Rickenbach und Willaringen, die sich 1973/1975 zu einer Gemeinde zusammenschlossen. Alle Ortsteile gehörten bis 1805 zur Einung Rickenbach der vorderösterreichischen Grafschaft Hauenstein. Im Jahre 1910 nahm die Gemeinde Rickenbach das noch heute gültige Wappen an, das wegen der Aussagekraft seiner Symbole für alle Ortsteile von der neuen Gemeinde beibehalten wurde. Es wurde am 13. August 1975 vom Innenministerium neu verliehen. Die Geige ist dem Wappen der Herren von Wieladingen entnommen, die vor 1314 einige Lehen in Rickenbach besessen hatten. Die Reste ihrer Burg liegen auf Willaringer Gemarkung; als Meier des Stifts Säckingen hatten sie Einfluss auch in Bergalingen und Hottingen. Die Hauensteiner Tanne führten alle Orte im 19. Jahrhundert in ihren Siegeln, zum größten Teil auch in ihren nach 1905 angenommenen Wappen. |
