Deutsch: Das Gemeindewappen der Ortsgemeinde Roth wird durch eine schräglinke Wellenleiste in zwei Felder eingeteilt.

Mit der in Silber gehaltenen Wellenleiste wird das die Ortsgemeinde Roth prä­gende Ge­wässer „Nister“ dargestellt, das in die Sieg mündet. An der Nister stand über Jahrhunderte eine Mühle, zu der alle Einwohner aus den Ortsteilen einen Bezug hatten. Die Ortsgemeinde Roth gehörte über Jahrhunderte zur früheren Grafschaft Sayn. Im oberen Wappenfeld erscheint daher das Wappentier als linksgewendeter, blaugezungter und blaubewehrter goldener leopardierter Löwe auf rotem Grund. Am Rande des unteren Wappenfeldes bis in Höhe der silbernen Wellenleiste sind sieben goldene Kugel eingelassen, die die heutigen sieben Ortsteile der Ge­meinde Roth symbolisieren: Roth, Oettershagen, Häm­merholz, Thal, Hohen­sayn, Nisterbrück, Nisterau.

Über diesen sieben goldenen Kugeln ist eine schräglinke goldene Rodungshacke zu sehen. Diese verweist als „redendes“ Wappensymbol darauf, dass in Vorzei­ten im Bereich der Ortsgemeinde Roth Wälder gerodet wurden und diese Ro­dungen zum Namen Roth beigetragen haben.
