Deutsch: Der Adler ist vom Wappen des Fürstbistums Brixen hergeleitet und mit einer frühen Nennung des Ortes verbunden: König Heinrich II. schenkte sein Kammergut Tiginga mit Kirche 1002 dem Bischof von Brixen; eine grundherrliche Verbindung zum Hochstift Brixen bestand bis 1803. Darauf verweist der Bischofsstab. Das Tatzenkreuz steht für den heiligen Georg, den Patron des Klosters Prüfening, und erinnert an den Grundbesitz des Regensburger Klosters im Gemeindegebiet. |
