Object history

An der Südostgrenze der Gemarkung Wallendorf steht ein historischer Grenzstein. In der topographischen Karte 1:25.000 Nr. 6104 ist er als Kulturdenkmal ausgewiesen. Er wird als „Maria

-Theresienstein“ bezeichnet. Der Stein trägt die Jahreszahl 1776. Auf der Wallendorf zugewiesenen Seite zeigt er das Wappen der Grafen von Vianden: in Rot einen weissen Balken. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite den österreichischen Doppeladler.
