English: ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – At a reception held in honor of the artists this weekend, Congresswoman Deb Haaland (NM-01) announced the winners of the Congressional Art Competition. At the reception she announced the overall winner, whose art will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year, and the winners of the People’s Choice Congressional Art Competition held on Facebook. People’s Choice Congressional Art Competition winners’ pieces will be displayed in Haaland’s District Office here in Albuquerque. “This year’s art was a stunning example of the amazing talent we have in our district,” said Congresswoman Deb Haaland. “It shows us the potential to continue to grow our creative economy.”
