English: PHOTO by Petty Officer 2nd Class Steven L. Shepard. The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center was treated to an authentic demonstration of Korean music and folk dancing during the '09 Monterey Korean-American "End of Year" Festival held inside the Tin Barn on Dec. 4 at the Presidio of Monterey.
Performers included the Youngsan Folk Music Team from Hansei University, Kangnam Folk Dance Team, and the Kunsori Folk Dance Team. Republic of Korea National Congressman and Chairman of International Cultural Exchange Association Choong-Whan Kim was the guest speaker. |
