Summary[edit]

Description
English: Photo taken at Werkamba (Tigray), as soon as the Ethiopian and Eritrean armies had left the town. For some weeks there were no military in Werkamba, and the residents who had fled found their town back in ruins, including killed civilians lying on the street. Their killing occurred between December 11 and December 15, 2020. When the soldiers suddenly arrived in the morning from Dembela and Seken, some locals and displaced people going through the town were slain. The southern part of Werkamba was thought relatively safe, and the Eritrean and Ethiopian soldiers who came in from that side killed citizens who had been surprised by their arrival.
