English: Vertical composition of a papal altar with six steps that lead to a mensa with a crucifix and seven candlesticks. On the sides there are canopy supports which consist of ttwo pilasters and a fluted comumn. Statues of male saints stand in front of the column on pedestals. The entablatures are connected by a frieze of lambrequins, showing the columns supporting the entablature and a voluted, conical roof. |
