Their present popularity is sure to continue and increase, as they are, without doubt, the most attractive and useful of all summer-flowering bulbs, and, as a cut flower through the summer and autumn months, hold a place that cannot be taken by any other flower. Wonderful improvements are being made each year in the size, color and beauty of these flowers, and our list comprises only the best both in 1 mixture and in named sorts. ' Note. We supply all varieties in strictly select No. 1 bulbs. TWELVE "PEERLESS" GLADIOLUS The twelve sorts offered below are of unusual high grade and will be a real surprise to those who are only familiar with the older varieties. Alice Tiplady. An entirely new and distinct color, a rich orangy saffron, one of the most beautiful and artistic blooms. IS cts. each; $1.50 per doz.; $10.00 per 100. Capt. Perber. Very large round flowers of a pale plum-violet blotched deep violet amaranth, a rich and unusual color. 30 cts. each; $3.00 per doz.; $20.00 per 100. Charlemag^ne. Very large, open flowers on massive spikes; color described by introducer as sunrise red, flaked darker and marked with large creamy-white blotches, densely dotted with > purple-carmine. 30 cts. each; $3.00 per doz.; $20.00 per 100. Deuil de Carnot. A superb French introduction with good sized open flowers of rich, velvety crimson maroon, shaded with black; the richest colored of all. 25 cts. each; $2.50 per doz.; $16.00 per 100. Etendard. One of the choicest introductions, with im- mense orchid-like flowers. Upper petals rich, cream tinted rose, lower petals marked with large fiery-red blotches, clearly margined with bright yellow. An exceedingly rich color combination. 20 cts. each; $2.00 per doz.; $ 15.00 per 100. Eugene Lefebvre. One of Lemoine's giant varieties, beauti- fully formed flowers of bright pink, throat spotted and dotted with purplish amaranth and cream. 20 cts. each; $2.00 per doz.; $15.00 per 100. Golden Measure. This is the first really rich yellow large flowering variety produced, it makes a handsome spike well filled with the large blooms and is a strong free grower. 20 cts. each; $2.00 per doz.; $15.00 per 100. Heliotrope. Fine large flowers of velvety bishop's violet, shaded with pansy-purple; rich and novel and very effective as a cut flower used in conjunction with one of the yellow sorts. 40 cts. each; $4.00 per doz. Jean de Taillis. One of Lemoine's introductions producing flowers of enormous size of a pure salmon, with large rich reddish maroon blotches. A handsome and striking variety. 20 cts. each; $2.00 per doz.; $15.00 per 100. Mary Pickford. A comparatively new variety of dainty color- ing, splendid spikes with large expanded blooms of a delicate creamy white, the throat suffused with soft canary yellow. 15 cts. each; $1.50 per doz.; $10.00 per 100. Mme. Mounet-Sully. A wonderfully fine variety with large flowers of splendid substance, the color combination exquisitely dainty and attractive, the ground color milky white with large orange red blotches. 30 cts. each; $3.00 per doz.; $20.00 per 100. Anthony B. Kunderd. Delicate cream overlaid blush pink, lower petals primrose flushed pink at edges, heavily ruffled. 20 cts. each; $2.00 per doz. E. J. Shaylor. A superb beautifully ruflled sort, color deep rose-pink. 15 cts. each; $1.50 per doz. Kunderdi Glory. The first of the ruffled type; creamy apricot tinted light pink suffused with red on lower petals. 15 cts. each; $1.50 per doz. One each of the above 6 Ruffled sorts for $1.00; 3 each for $2.50; 6 each for Mrs. H. E. Bothin. Heavily ruffled flowers of shell-pink tinted salmon with flaming scarlet blotch. 15 cts. each; $1.50 per doz. Pride of Lancaster. A wonderful brilliant orange salmon, with scarlet throat, exquisitely ruffled. 20 cts. each; $2.00 per doz. Purple Glory. This is not purple as its name would indicate, but a rich velvety maroon, with almost black blotches; beauti- fully ruffled. 25 cts. each; $2.50 per doz. 1.75.
