Alpha. Creamy-white, with pencilings, spots and stripes of reddish purple. Plants ready April 15th. Comet. Delicate lilac, penciled, spotted and striped with tyrian rose. Charles Parnot. Ground color rosy-white, striped and speckled with reddish violet. Plants ready April 15th. Electric. a large sulphur-yellow with white tips, sometimes sports to a self-color either white or yellow. Base of petals golden-yellow, r shading to bronzy-rose at the tips and densely striped with bright currant-red. Mercury. Ground color yellow, thickly striped " ' and spotted with crimson; large flower. <. ' Meteor. Large incurved flower, ground color ^ sulphur-yellow striated French purple. Plants ^ ready April 15th. Mrs. J. Emberson. a distinct fancy, with large incurved flowers of a pale-lemon, splashed and speckled with rosy-pink. Vesuvius. Ground color butter-cup-yellow, striped and spotted blood-red. Otto Henschel. yellow. Prima Donna. Distinct and free, flowers large, with long, tubular twisted incurved petals, the centre ones creamy-white, the outer delicate mauve-pink; very choice. Prince of Yellows. a rich canary- yellow; one of the best yellows for cutting. Princess Mary, a large flower of pleas- ing light terra-cotta, slightly veined with reddish carmine, quite distinct. Progenitor. Bright carmine, each petal being furcated on the end like a stag- horn fern. Rene Cayeux. Rich geranium-red; one of the earliest to flower. 25 cts. each. Reliable, a very large, bold, striking flower, of a pleasing madder-carmine, suffused with salmon and yellow. Roland von Berlin. A magnificent, bril- liant and intense geranium-red, with deeper shadings and full of fire. Rother. Rich, bright garnet; one of the finest dark-colored sorts yet intro- duced. Sceptre. Base of petals yellow, passing to mauve-rose at tips with salmon sheen; a pleasing, live color. Siegstab. a rich French purple of splendid form and very free-flowering. Strahlen Krone, intense cardinal-red; rich and glow- ini Thebes. Deep oriental-red, on fine stems; very free. Warjag. Orange-carmine, tipped with bright carmine: good size. Weisse Dame. A pure snow-white, with the edges of the petals cleft. Wunderkind. Luminous canary-yellow, shading to white, suffused with flesh at the edges; one of the freest.
