Description
English: Preserved is hardly the word for it! It's been sitting at San Augustin Airfield on Gran Canaria for at least 35 years and when I took this photo around 2008 it looked ready to fall apart. Corrosion you can see right through in places. Sad to see! I'm not sure where the props came from but definitely not DC-7C props which had 'square' tips. It can be seen from the GC-1 motorway, on the left as you're heading towards Playa del Ingles/Maspalomas.
