St. Louis Car Companys Semi - Convertible Type The illustration represents one of the cars recently shippedby us to the Houston Electric Company, Houston, Texas. These cars are of our own design—a practically perfect Semi-Convertible type. Both lowerand upper sashes raise into the roof. They move easily and when in the roof pockets are securelyfastened, with no possible danger of falling and injuring passengers. Our construction of the Semi-Convertible Caris the very best that has yet been devised These Houston cars are 28 over corner posts and 31 6 over all. Width over arm rail, 8 6.They are finished with very handsomely figured mahogany, provided with curtains at each windowand each door opening and have the St. Louis Car Companys latest improved Walkover seat. The cars are mounted on St. Louis Car Companys No. 47 Short Wheel Base Truck, whichhas been adopted as standard in a great many of the larger cities.
