Español: Es un escudo de boca tipo, propio de la heráldica hispánica. El escudo presenta un blasón cortado y con corte inferior cuartelado, así como un corazón o abismo y una punta. En su campo corte superior, campo de azur y sobre él en plata, silueta de Sierra Nevada con los picos Alcazaba y Mulhacén, con decoración de bandas diagonales sinople en la falda de las montañas. Abajo a la diestra, cuartel de la punta con fondo azur y sobre él en plata, torre de templo cristiano con tejado en gules. Abajo a la siniestra, cuartel de la punta con fondo en azur sobre el que se representa un macho cabrío en su color natural, con patas delanteras sobre roca en plata. En el corazón o abismo, diamante con fondo en plata y sobre él, tres cerezas en gules. En punta, fondo en plata y sobre él, la granada con tallo en sinople y fruto en gules. Se ha adoptado la corona real española. Bajo la punta del escudo y rodeando la misma, aparece una leyenda con el nombre del municipio «GÜÉJAR SIERRA» apostillado por tres estrellas a cada lado.
