Sen. Christopher S. "Kit" Bond (R-Mo.), left, and Lt. Gen. Clyde Vaughn, director,Army National Guard, answers questions from the media during a press conference held in Bond's office, Monday, Dec. 22, 2008. Bond recently returned from Afghanistan where he saw first hand work that the Agriculture Development Teams have been doing to help build a sustainable farming base in the war torn region. First stood up in 2007,the ADTs are made up of Guard Soldiers with strong farming backgrounds and have been instrumental in rebuilding Afghanistan.(U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Jon Soucy)(Released)
