Description

Members of the Armed Forces inaugural Committee (AFIC) participate in a large scale map exercise at the DC Armory in Washington, D.C., Dec. 18, 2008. AFIC carries on a tradition, which dates back more than 200 years, of honoring the new commander in chief and recognizing civilian control of the military. AFIC is a joint-service organization responsible for providing military ceremonial support to the 56th Presidential Inauguration, which will take place on Jan. 20, 2009. (DoD photo by Tech. Sgt.
