Description
English: Flooded camping site on bank of river Lahn, space for floods after snowmelt in winter 2017/2018 in Hesse and Germany, photo from Lahntalradweg up on dike Trojedamm between Weidenhausen and the water (2018-01-02).
Deutsch: Bäume am Ufer der Lahn in Marburg im Wasser, nachdem die Schneeschmelze zur Jahreswende in Hessen nach einem kurzen weissen Winter und einer nachfolgenden Wärmeperiode mit Temperaturen über dem Nullpunkt eingesetzt hat. Dem Fluss wird hier an diesem Campingplatz südlich des Hirsefeldstegs bei Hochwasser inzwischen Raum gelassen, der Trojedamm mit dem Lahntalradweg obenauf schützt den tiefergelegenen Stadtteil Weidenhausen östlich der Oberstadt von Marburg weitgehend vor Überflutung. (etwas düsteres Pfoto am 2. Januar 2018 in der Nachmittagsdämmerung).
