NORTHRUP, KING & CO.'S EXTRA EARLY OHIO POTATOES. EXTRA EARLY OHIO POTATOES. Northrup, King & Co.'s Special Stock. We consider these to be „:ae earliest, purest and altogether the handsomest stock of Early Ohio Potatoes to be found anywhere. On these points, we challenge comparison with stock from any other source. We do not admit that its equal exists among Early Ohio Potatoes. They are grown under conditions that make them cost more than common stock, they are selected with the utmost care, and the result is grand, such as to delight everyone who knows and appreci- ates a good potato. Even-one of them is a "picture" of what an Earlv Ohio Potato should be. Stock Limited, 100 eyes, by mail, postpaid 80c ; by freight, peck, 4G«- j bu., $1.25; bbl.,$3.50 EARLY OHIO. We do not now grew our Early Ohio Potatoes. Minneapolis is such a large B^od .potato receiving market and shipping point that we have f ou id it to ba a better plan to select each year, a few carloads of Ohios out of the many coming each day during the fall and early winter. In this way we have our pick out of many thousands of bushels, and we usually have better stock, than if wo felt ob- liged to first dispose of those of our own growth. Our stock will please the buyer. - lOOeyes, by mail, postpaid, 60c; peck, 35c; bu., $1.00; bbl., $3.00. EXTRA EARLY TRIUMPH,—(Bliss.) This variety has been known for a long time, and yet "unknown." It was introduced many years ago by Mr. B. K. Bliss of New York, who dit-seminated the Early Rose. The Triumph at- tained at the time no particular favor, but all of a sudden its virtues became appreciated and the demand for it last season was so great, that it sold readily in carload lots for three times the price of ordinary seed potatoes, and one man who held several thousad bu-hels reaped a sub- stantial fortune from their sale. There is good reason why the Triumph should be popular. It is from seven to ten days earlier than the Ohio, and that oftentimes means a difference of many dollars in the crop. We believe that potato growers will do well to pi ant li berally ot them the coming spring as there is sure to be an almost unlimited demand for the seed from the Missis- sippi Valley where thousands upon thousands of acres of potatoes are grown each year for the early market. The illustration is from a photo- graph of an average specimen. The potato is of good size, squared at ends. Skin is red, flesh is very white and firm. It is productive, and for several years to come, will probably command a higher price among potato buyers than any other sort. Our stock is genuine. Price, 100 eves, $1.00 by mail postpaid. By freight, peck, 60c; bu.,$1.75; bbl., (3 bu.) $4.50; In 10 bbl. lots, @ $4.00-
