Description
English: A U.S. Navy Grumman F-14B-145-GR Tomcat (BuNo 162916) from Fighter Squadron 32 (VF-32), "Swordsmen", takes to flight during COMTUEX, Comprehensive Training Unit Exercise, while stationed on board the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75), 14 August 2000. COMTUEX is designed to bring the aircraft carrier/carrier air wing team together as a cohesive fighting unit while giving the team "blue water" certification for operating at sea.
