(J2000) RA 09h 51m 40.66814s Dec −46° 32′ 51.4376″ HD 85622 (also known as m Velorum) is a young yellow supergiant star in Vela at 1050 light-years. Its apparent magnitude is 4.59.Italiano: Campo stellare attorno alla stella HD 85622 (u Velorum), nella costellazione delle Vele.
HD 85622 è la stella giallo/rossa al centro del terzetto sulla sinistra dell'immagine, costituito anche dalle stelle HD 85563 (in alto) e HD 85483 (in basso). Ad HD 85622 si sovrappone la stella HD 85604. Infine, HD 85997 è la stella di colore rosso più vicina al bordo sinistro dell'immagine. In prossimità del bordo superiore sinistro dell'immagine ci sono tre stelle di colore bianco-azzurro: HD 85355 (u Velorum, in basso), HD 85980 (in prossimità dell'angolo superiore sinistro) e HD 85621. In prossimità dell'angolo superiore destro, è presente una nebulosa oscura. |
