inem Organ auf das anderegemacht, sondern auch die Krankheit von einer Steinobstart auf andereübertragen; dadurch wird der einwandfreie Beweis geliefert, dafs esallein der erwähnte Pilz ist, welcher die Krankheit verursacht. BeiÜbertragungen auf Zweigwunden trat stets nach einiger Zeit Gummi-bildung ein, wenn die Verletzung bis zur jüngsten Rinde oder demKambium reichte. Wie man sich die Einwirkung des Mycels bei demGummiflufs vorzustellen hat, ist allerdings noch nicht geklärt, denn eszeigte sich die auffällige Tatsache, dafs durchaus nicht immer an denHerden der Gummibildung Mycel sich findet und andererseits der Pilzauf den Blättern keine Gummosis erzeugt.
