Afrikaans: Die Harmandier Sahieb oftewel Goue Tempel met omliggende heilige dam, die Amriet Sarowar, word hier in die dynserige weer van 'n koue winteroggend aanskou. ’n Siekh-vrywilliger verrig sewa oftewel werk deur die heilige dam skoon te hou. In Siekhisme is werk 'n vorm van aanbidding.
English: Harmandir Sahib a.k.a. Golden Temple and its surrounding sacred pond ("Amrit Sarovar") are visible through fog on a cold winter morning. A Sikh volunteer performs seva or work by cleaning the sacred pond. In Sikhism, work is considered worshipping.
