Description
English: Pictured is The Helicopter Carrier HMS Ocean during Exercise Trident Juncture.

She has Wildcat, Merlin and Chinook helicopters on her flight deck.

NATO's largest exercise in 20 years, Trident Juncture 2015 was held through October and November 2015, predominantly in, over and on the seas around Portugal, Spain and Italy.  It is one of a series of long-planned exercises to ensure that NATO Allies and their partners are able to work effectively together to deal with any emerging crisis, from any direction.

Image was a winner in the Peregrine Trophy 2016. The Best Maritime Image Award. Awarded for the best photograph depicting Royal Navy equipment, including ships, submarines, weapon systems and other maritime focused images.
