Description
English: Map of the Henan Province of the Qing Empire at c. 1:1,000,000 scale. Notes the medieval southern course of the Yellow River as the "Yu Huang He" and the new northern route after the 1851–1855 floods as the "Huang He". Wood block print, reproduction of ink-and-brush original. Relief shown pictorially. One of the 26 maps compiled by the Hubei Province official press as the Daqing Yitong Yudi Quantu atlas in 1864. Text includes administrative divisions and route distance information. LOC copy with torn edges and other damage. Title also on verso.
