Nederlands: Volkstuinen, Noordendijk, Dordrecht
English: In earlier times, when the city population was financially not as good as now. Some lucky people had a piece of land. Available by the municipality and placed in an association. On this piece of land they could then grow some vegetables.
These pieces of land still exist. But now as allotment. People use it as a hobby garden and sometimes as little cottage for the weekend. |
