Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pandora is an Australian 2D computer animated short film made by Hugh Freeman.

The original description of the video by Hugh Freeman (YT) provided from the source:

A short film done for my University major. This was more of a learning experience than anything else. Though I'm happy with the outcome considering the little time we were given to complete it, I don't think I came even close to fully realizing my goal. Perhaps I'll come back to this one at some point.

Story: In the not too distant future humans have suffered some kind of extinction event. A pregnant woman is fleeing for her life, being pursued by machines that now stalk the wastelands hunting human survivors. After managing to escape she finds a place to hide, where she gives birth and dies in the process. A robot aimlessly wandering the wasteland stumbles upon the baby in the arms of his dead mother and decides to take the baby into his care on a journey across the wasteland.
