Description
English: View of Cuba taken during ISS Expedition 6. North coast, around 330 km east of Habana.

Caibarién and the bay of Buena Vista, with (in the left par of the picture) the 48 km roadway across the bay that links Caibarién to cayo Las Brujas (with Caibarién airport), cayo Ensenachos and cayo Santa María (Villa Clara Province).

Left of the roadway: the long and rather straight-lined island is cayo Fragoso (part view).

Near the coast, right (east) side of the roadway, near the coast: cayo La Aguada, Cayo Lucas, cayo Salinas with cayo Los Cayuelos on its south side, cayo Guainarao (and some smaller ones), all at the west end of Caguanes National Park in Yaguajay (Sancti Spíritus Province).br> Further at sea: cayo La Loras with cayos de la Herradura on its north side (Villa Clara province), cayo Boca Ciega. Near the top end of cayo Santa María, on its south side, start a long stretch of multiple cayos heading south at first then heading east, lined with other small cayos; among which: cayo Iguana (at the top), cayo Punta de Piedra, cayo Vinagre, cayo Cortizo; half-hidden under the swath of clouds on the right are cayo Corúas, cayo La Lisa (Villa Clara province), cayo Gordo (Ciego de Ávila province), cayo Los Anegazidos, cayo Los Pargos, , cayo Piso, cayo El Sapo, cayo Flores, cayo La Cáscara, cayo Contrabando (Ciego de Ávila province)...

All these islands and islets are part of the large Sabana-Camagüey Archipelago and, more locally, of the Jardines del Rey.
