Deutsch: Im Sommer näher am Himmel... Der Wald als letzte Ruhestätte
Bad Münstereifel 2009/10 - 37 Minuten + Zusatzfilm 3 Min Buch/Regie: Mirko Uhlig Am Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts erlebt auch die zeitgenössische Bestattungskultur große Einschnitte. Neben der konventionellen Friedhofsform, die sich aus einer tradierten (bürgerlichen) Auffassung von Natur, Architektur und Grabdenkmälern zusammensetzt, tauchen in den letzten Jahren vermehrt alternative Bestattungsformen auf. Neue Wege werden mit der Baumbestattung beschritten, wie sie zum Beispiel im Iversheimer Wald in Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma FriedWald angeboten wird. Der Film stellt nun die Protagonisten in diesem neuen Bestattungsumfeld vor: Auf der einen Seite Menschen, die sich als Förster und Trauerbegleiter alltäglich mit dieser Thematik auseinandersetzen, auf der anderen Seite auch jene Angehörigen, für die die Wahl eines Baumgrabes eine neuartige Auseinandersetzung mit der Vergänglichkeit darstellt. Der volkskundliche Dokumentarfilm leistet einen Beitrag zum Verständnis von Kultur und zeigt, wie sich der mögliche Umgang mit Tod und Trauer in einer Umbruchphase darstellt. |
