ACCORDING TO STADE. h. s. m*bIEj del, SOLOMONS TEMPLE (I Kgs. 623*> Temple Records ten cubits high. 24And one wing of the cherub measured five cubits, andthe other wing of the cherub also five cubits—ten cubits from the extremityof one wing to the extremity of the other. 25And the other cherub alsomeasured ten cubits: both the cherubim were of the same measurement andform. 27And he set up the cherubim in the inner room of the temple, andthe wings of the cherubim were stretched forth, so that the wing of theone touched the one wall, while the wing of the other cherub touched theother wall, and their wings touched one another in the middle of thetemple 28and he overlaid the cherubim with gold. 31And the door of the inner room he made with folding doors of olive Door ofwood; the pilasters formed a pentagonal. 32And on the two doors of olive ner mwood he carved carvings of cherubim and palm trees and opening flowers, roomand he spread the gold over theisraelslawslega00kent
