English: James Murry Colman, engineer and entrepreneur in Seattle, Washington, USA in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Important player in the Seattle and Walla Walla Railroad. Built the pre-fire Colman Block and the post-fire (and still extant) Colman Building, the pre-fire and post-fire Colman Docks (the name survives at Pier 52, the Washington State Ferry terminal in downtown Seattle). |
